DJ Rob Swift - The Architect
This morning, just like every morning, I look into hiphopdx.com to read on news, album reviews, and everything else. HipHopDX is like CNN to me. Today they wrote a review on DJ Rob Swift, from Jackson Heights, Queens and his new album, The Architect. This album shows that the turntable is a real instrument, as well as a core item in Hip hop history. In 2010, when the art of turntablism is generally digital, Rob Swift showed once again how this artform is portrayed. Immediately I became a fan as well should you. Turntablism is not dead. Its like Nas' Hip Hop is dead album when he proved otherwise.
You don't believe me? See for yourself.
Roc Raida would be proud.
(P.S. X-ecutioners is one of the reasons why i became a DJ.....in the first place)
Cop the album.
